We had a fun evening last Saturday night. We were given some tickets to the BC Renegade football game (thank you, Grandpa Marvin). Since Jakob wasn't interested in joining us, we invited Joshua to come along. Oh my goodness, what a scream!! He was really excited to be coming with us because he told us numerous times that this was his first time to go to a college football game. He almost couldn't contain himself. He watched the game intently, shouting "Go Renegades!" at the appropriate moments. What we enjoyed about watching him was how he stayed interested in the game and how right-on he was when there was a flag on the field. He was correct with the penalty call most of the time. Not many adults can do that and he's 8! Our other favorite moment was when the cannon was fired at the end of the 1st quarter and scared the bejeebers out of him. My chapstick paid the price for that one!

We had a really fun time and the weather was great! We brought blankets to wrap up in and Joshua liked being a "Joshurrito" and he loved eating his nachos! But the all=time best moment was when we were taking him home and he matter of factly stated that "you will probably ask me to go again" to another game. If we are guaranteed the same amount of fun the next time, then you can bet on it!!

Oh, by the way, the Renegades won 34-13 :)

Well isn't that fantastic! No wonder everyone was saying Joshua would love a "Foozie" haha
