Last night we attended the beginning of the City Council meeting to take part in the Mayor's recognition of the kids who graduated #1 in their class (which happened to be the same group of kids as on Monday). The evening began with a cookie and punch reception and then formal recognition of each stude
nt by the Mayor himself. Each student was presented with a special certifcate stating their honor and the community's pride. The sentiment was really nice (however, we were really spoiled by Monday's event-this did not compare).

It has been a tremendous pleasure to witness Geoffrey receive all of these honors. He has truly earned every one of them. I a great joy it has been to live vicariously through the successes of our son!!
