Happy Birthday, Kymberli!!

Kymberli celebrated a milestone birthday this weekend...she is now officially a teenager! And boy, do Mom and Dad feel old. It's also a little sobering knowing that we are in a houseful of teenagers. Where did the time go?! Focus...back to Kymberli...

She celebrated well this weekend. Festivites started on 2/16 (2 days early) when we went to dinner with Grandma Laurie and Grandpa Mike in honor of her. Then after dinner, we went back to our house where we were joined by Grandma Charlotte and Grandpa Max and had dessert and presents. Of course, this is her favorite part!! She received lots of nice gifts (tanzanite pendant, digitial camera, clothes), but I think the most exciting gift was her trip to Texas to visit Aunt Allison and Uncle Kevin (she is so ready, Allison!). Her countdown has begun. :) Since this was a "big" birthday, her celebrations continued on 2/18 (her actual birthday). She invited 5 friends over for a Black & White party. The girls dressed in black & white (we went to dinner at BJ's Brewery), ate black & white sundaes (instead of cake) and watched black & white movies (the original Little Rascals shows). Then they got into their pj's for a sleepover. They had a great time! And then for breakfast they had black & white pancakes, plain and chocolate chip (I do love my themes, you know!). All of this activity made for a really memorable birthday.
Happy birthday, Kymberli! We love you!!
