Our Anniversary

Talk about a blessing...we just celebrated our 17th anniversary! (Didn't we look like babies then?) In this day and age, we regard that as a huge accomplishment. And the best part is that we still like each other :)

We were fortunate enough to be able to celebrate this anniversary with a trip to Pismo Beach. So our blessing is TIME ALONE WITH YOUR SPOUSE. Not only is that a blessing but a valuable treasure as well. As you can imagine, having 3 teenage children keeps us pretty busy and it also means that sometimes our relationship takes second place to the kids' needs. This weekend was a great remedy for that. Thanks to Auntie Tricia (another tremendous blessing!), the kids were taken care of and shuttled to their activities and we did not have to lift a finger! Well, maybe to change the channel on the TV or get another cup of coffee. What a life!

We really do feel blessed that God has chosen us to be partners and we sincerely look forward to all the great things He has planned for us as we grow old together.
