Not slowing her down...

We have another visit with the eye doctor scheduled on Wed., 3/7.  But, in the meantime, she is not slowing down!  She just had her first invitational meet of the season at BC.  She, of course, would have preferred to do better, but as first meets go, we thought she performed well.  It's a great time to assess where you are and to see what you still need to work on.

She did well in the long jump.  She finished somewhere in the middle of the pack.  Good first event.

She finished 5th overall in the 100M hurdles.  That's a fabulous beginning!  She has areas to improve and she has her sites set on beating her competitor from Garces.  Let the hard work begin!

Oh, did you notice one important addition to this season?  She is wearing her sports glasses!  Good girl! :)
