Busy December

When December began, our calendar was filled with many activities. Let me show you:

12/1-Foothill played in the Division 3 Championship game against Garces (we lost)
12/5-Dinner with friends (our first taste of basque food)
12/6-Academic awards ceremony for Geoffrey (honoring 4 semesters of a GPA above 3.2)
12/7-Bakersfield Christmas Parade (Kymberli marched)
12/8-Birthday celebration for Stephanie (lunch with Mom and Jill, dinner with girls)
12/9-Kymberli's soccer team party
12/10-More birthday for Stephanie (she milked it as much as she could)
12/11-Foothill Winter Concert (Geoffrey and Jakob played)
12/12-Christmas lunch for Stephanie (with friends from Heritage)
12/12-Heritage Christmas Concert (all kids played-the boys returned to their alma mater to help their former band director)
12/16-Foothill Band Christmas Party
12/17-Cousin Christmas get-together with Grandma and Grandpa (they had a blast buying gifts for each other and eating ice cream at Rosemary's)
12/19-Poetry Night (Kymberli read some original works for extra credit in Literature)

See, I told you we were busy! Now, as we have concluded activities and life is slowing down, (although just enough to gear back up for Christmas celebrations) we can reflect on all of the blessings that we've been given this year. We look forward to spending the remaining days in 2006 with family and friends!!

(This is a photo of the kids and Frank Hamon, band director at Heritage. This was the first time that all 3 kids have played in the same band at the same time. It was really cool to see all of my children on stage playing music together.)
