We are coming off a whirlwind month of end of the year activities and award presentations. I have been reminded that she is an all-around good student and great athlete! And here's the proof...
**Finished 3rd in the Southeast Yosemite League meet in 100m and 300m hurdles
**Finished with personal best times at the South Area meet in 100m and 300m hurdles. What a great way to end high school track!
**Recognized at the Jockey Club luncheon as an outstanding athlete
**Recognized as a finalist at the KHSD PEAAK (Promoting Excellence in Athletics & Academics in Kern) Awards as Best Female Student Athlete in the district (did not win though)
**Was a force to be reckoned with in the Juniors vs. Seniors Powder Puff football game at Foothill (scored on a beautiful running play)
**Participated in the Senior Farewell (new name for Baccalaureate ceremony)-looked lovely in her cap and gown
**Recognized at the Senior Awards night with several awards: US Marine Corps Distinguished Female Athlete Award, received CSF stole, and received $500 Foothill Athletic Booster Club scholarship
Now we are enjoying a few down days before her next big event...GRADUATION!
