They did it!

Last month, Jakob and Eric went together for their first deer hunting trip.  They set out to bring back 2 does and 1 buck.  This is how they did...

It took a lot of driving and early mornings but they accomplished their goal! They were very proud of themselves.  They processed and packed the meat themselves and discovered that was a huge job.  But they did an excellent job because it did not taste gamey at all!  All the time and care they took to cool the animal quickly and pack it properly really paid off. It was delicious!  And we have plenty of meat :)
